Full Bio:

Christopher Mohalley started in this industry like many others: he was looking for a career and fell into HVAC with no background. After a two-week technical course, he became a maintenance technician. Christopher realized very quickly that customers viewed him as a professional, not only because of his competence, but because of his attention and care to their needs. Above all, they recognized the fact that he understood the importance of treating them with courtesy and respect.

For the next eight years he worked in all areas of HVAC. Early in his career he found that training others was not only rewarding, but required him to continually enhance his own skills in order to keep up with the industry. He attended numerous manufacturer, trade association and independent seminars related to technical advancement and customer service. He also created training manuals from manufacturers’ literature and facilitated ongoing training.

Christopher joined International Service Leadership Inc. as an assistant instructor in 2000 and two years later he constructed and led its Chicago technical training center. During his tenure with ISL Inc., he trained hundreds of technicians from across the United States and Canada in the areas of Gas and Oil Heat, Air Conditioning, Heat Pumps and Air Distribution for maintenance, service and installation. He was featured in a Technicians’ Communications DVD, contributed to the development of its NATE Preparation Manual, and trained and proctored many technicians for NATE certification. He also developed and assisted in the redevelopment of technical training materials, presented at conferences, and assisted in the construction of other national facilities.

The Chicago technical training center was moved outside of his commuting range in 2005, and deciding against relocating his family, Christopher chose to start his own training company, HVAC DYNAMICS LLC.  Remembering how difficult it was to continue his own training while working in the field, he designed practical, on-site, knowledge-based, one-day courses that allow technicians to train at their own pace and build the knowledge necessary to enhance professionalism and achieve industry certification.

Christopher began working with GE ECM by Regal-Beloit in 2005 to develop a training program for its ECM products, also known as variable-speed blower motors. He has since combined his13-plus years of HVAC field experience and extensive product training to create a nationally-recognized training program.

These classes have been provided to manufacturers, contractors, distributors/wholesalers and at conventions such as HVAC Comfortech, the ARI Instructor Workshop, and CMX/CIPHEX in Canada.

Classes are for technicians, instructors, manufacturers’ technical support, and industry trainers. They are a combination of product and field knowledge that continue to build confidence and competence in one of the fastest-growing technologies in residential HVAC.
